How to replace the rear Wheel Bearing on Chevrolet Blazer,S10,GMC Jimmy and Sonoma? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the axleshaft and oil seal, you will first need a bearing puller. Attach the puller to the slide hammer, the bearing can be extracted from the axle housing. After removing the bearing, the recess should be cleaned out. The new bearing can then be installed using a bearing installer or a piece of pipe against the outer bearing race. Ensure that the bearing is tapped in fully and that the numbers are visible from the outer end of the axle housing, and then install a new oil seal before reattaching the axleshaft.
