After discarding the oil seal, all components should be cleaned and inspected for wear or damage.

The bearing puller can be attached to the slide hammer.

After reinstalling the front wheel bearings, install the dust cap, replace the brake caliper, reattach the wheel, and check the bearings' condition by grasping the top and bottom of the tire.

Before reinstalling the axleshaft and lowering the vehicle, it should be ensured that there is no play in the hub assembly.
