Take away mounting bolts for rack and pinion, afterwards undoing shaft coupling between intermediate journal of rack & pinion with pins going through it. Finally, remove right side rack assembly. On installing back a new one lift this device upwardly while connecting intermediate sleeve like connector to entrance pipe by positioning marks appropriately on them both Install rack mountings with their specified degree of tightness Force tie rod ball joint into place before tightening up its fasteners Reverse process following removal ensuring that all fixings are torqued as per specifications Lastly do wheel alignment when required.
