Chevrolet C1500 Ignition Coil

Chevrolet C1500 Ignition Coil is one of the major parts that have a very important function of delivering sparks to the vehicle's ignition. Thus, the ignition coil being Voltage conversion part increase the voltage from battery's low voltage to high voltage to produce spark capable of igniting the air/fuel mixture in the cylinders. This process consists of the primary and secondary coils of insulated copper wire; these coils are wrapped around an iron core contained in a housing. The first circuit, known as the primary circuit links to the battery and charging circuit, while the second circuit, the secondary circuit features a high tension lead, distributor cap as well as spark plug's wires. Some of the Chevrolet C1500 vehicles have applied distributor ignition system, coil on plug system, wasted spark system and the like ignition coils have also been used in such cars. Ignition coil as a component is very sensitive to the performance of the vehicle and its failure can cause problems such as poor acceleration, poor fuel efficiency and rough idle among others, thus this is important to monitor it.

Each OEM Chevrolet C1500 Ignition Coil we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.

Mark the distributor shaft and gear so they can be reassembled in the same relationship. Carefully mount the distributor in a vise equipped with soft jaws and, using a hammer and punch, remove the roll pin from the distributor shaft and gear. Pull out the distributor shaft. To remove the ignition coil, mount the distributor shaft in a vise equipped with soft jaws and, using a pin punch and hammer, knock out the roll pin. Remove the driven gear and spacer washers or springs from the end of the shaft-be sure to note their installed order. Remove the shaft from the distributor.
