For the headlight dimmer switch, remove the steering column support bracket bolts and nuts, lower the steering column, disconnect the dimmer switch electrical connector, and remove the retaining bolts. In the case of the park/neutral switch/back-up light switch for automatic transmission. For the windshield wiper/washer switch, remove the steering wheel, compress the locking plate, remove the clip retaining it to the steering column, and proceed with the disassembly steps. Disconnect the handle from the windshield wiper switch and drive the pin through the switch housing to remove it. Reinstallation is the reverse of removal.
