    To install the hub and bearing assembly, guide the knuckle into the strut mounting flange and insert the mounting fasteners without tightening them yet. Guide the driveaxle in place and install the hub and bearing assembly, leaving the mounting fasteners finger tight. Attach the ball stud to the steering knuckle and tighten the castle nut to the proper torque specifications, then install a new cotter pin. Attach the tie-rod to the steering knuckle and tighten the tie-rod nut to the proper torque specifications. Align the steering knuckle using the marks on the strut flange and tighten the nuts to the correct torque specifications. Tighten the hub and bearing assembly mounting bolts to the proper torque specifications.
