    How do you remove and install the fuel filter on fuel injected engines for the 1982 Buick Century? Posted by Customer
    A:
    To remove and install the fuel filter on fuel injected engines, first depressurize the fuel system by removing the fuel pump fuse or disconnecting the fuel tank electrical harness connector. Then, disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the filter attaching nut at both ends of the filter assembly. Pull the filter out of the bracket and remove the sealing O-rings. Install the new filter into the bracket, using new O-rings for the fuel line connections. Tighten the connections and reconnect the negative battery cable.
