    To remove the throttle body, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. Disconnect the electrical connector from the throttle body. Next, remove the throttle body mounting fasteners and carefully lift off the throttle body, discarding the old gasket. Cover the intake manifold opening. The installation is the reverse of removal and you should use a new gasket and tighten the throttle body fasteners.
