Chevrolet HHR Throttle Body

In the Chevrolet HHR automobiles, Booster is used as a Throttle Body which is responsible for the control of the air that is admitted to the vehicle's engine in proportion to the driver's command of the accelerator pedal. Located between the air filter box and the intake manifold, throttle body has a butterfly valve that controls the rate of the air intake. In fuel injected car engines, the throttle body is linked to the car's accelerator pedal either mechanically or electrically and the sensors relay data regarding the optimal way of fuel supply to the injectors to the computer. The throttle systems can also be either mechanical or electrical or a combination of the two with advanced systems such as the "drive-by-wire" improving the throttle system together with features such the safety features. Whereas carburetors are a thing of the past with fuel injection now being the order of the day, some high performance cars may have multiple or individual throttle bodies.

Each OEM Chevrolet HHR Throttle Body we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part.
