Put rags beneath the cylinder and in case the model has a common brake fluid supply, clamp off the clutch fluid supply line before disconnecting it from the master cylinder. Lose the mounting nuts to separate the cylinder and the firewall, and in some cases you also have to pull the separate reservoir out of its place along with the master cylinder. For installation, first secure the position of the master cylinder on the firewall then fit the nuts and in the case where the reservoir is separated the slide it into the bracket. Tighten the mounting nuts, take the pressure line fitting connecting to the master cylinder, and apply the feed hose in case both models use the same brake fluid reservoir. Last but not the least connect the pushrod to the clutch pedal and replenish the reservoir with brake fluid that is of DOT 3 standard and then bleed the clutch system.
