After that, discard the old TP sensor O-ring and replace it with a new one before installing the sensor. When installing the TP sensor, ensure that the flats on the throttle plate shaft align with the flats inside the TP sensor. Before securing the TP sensor with mounting screws, apply a thread-locking compound to the screw threads. Finally, the installation process is the reverse of the removal steps.
