    A: Lift the vehicle and secure on jackstands. For the rear cylinder bank (Bank 1), remove the engine block heat shield. For the front cylinder bank (Bank 2), remove the oil filter. On 2009+ models, remove the Catalytic Converter to access Bank 2 sensor. Disconnect the knock sensor connector and remove the retaining bolt. Unscrew the bolt and remove the sensor. To install, reverse these steps and tighten the bolt to the specified torque.
