How does the camshaft position sensor operate?

The Camshaft Position sensor works somewhat like the crankshaft position sensor. It functions together with the crankshaft position sensor to set up fuel injection timing for each cylinder. The replacement procedure for six-cylinder models includes the following steps: disconnecting the electrical connector from the sensor, removing the camshaft position sensor mounting bolt, and pulling out the sensor from the cylinder head. Installation is just taking it back as it was during removal. V8 models have similar processes. Remove the camshaft positioning-board mounting bolt by unplugging its electrical connector and pulling it off from the engine block. Once again, for installation, do exactly as was done during removal.
