- Q: How do you replace Fog Light Bulb and other bulb on Chevrolet Monte Carlo?A: In order to have some extra illumination at night, let alone replace exterior lights, the first step is to take out the Headlight housing. In the case of front side marker light bulbs, the bulb holder should be twisted anticlockwise to be unlocked, the old bulb can then be removed and a new bulb inserted until it is locked in place. The same applies to front park and turn signal bulbs. For the fog lights, they have a bulb holder that should be unscrewed in anticlockwise direction, after which one removes the electrical connector and the assembly is replaced as a complete unit. For center high mount brake light on Impala models, first open trunk then remove the carpet trim, to detach the housing one has to remove the mounting nuts and also disconnect electrical connector. On Monte Carlo models, unscrew the mounting bracket and have it plateau, and disconnect the electric connector.
