How do you replace a halogen headlight Bulb on Chevrolet Corvette? Posted by Customer
    A:
Replacing a halogen headlight requires the following procedure, first, remove the negative battery terminal. Next, it is necessary to remove the electrical harness of headlamp out of it's place. With the dust cap off the headlamp motor, using your hand to turn the knob anti-clockwise to lift the headlamp assembly. It is followed by removing the headlamp bezel by unscrewing the accessible screws at the back and by freeing the three latching locations while being careful not to scratch the car's surface. When the bezel is taken off, stick you hand into the opening to remove the bulb and pull the electrical connector. Rotating the bulb in the anticlockwise direction makes it to be unscrewed and as for the installation, it is almost the same as the process of removing the bulb.

    Q:
How do you replace the Fog Light Bulb on Saturn LS? Posted by Customer
    A:
When turning the front turn signal bulbs, the hood should be opened and the amber lens front turn signal should be looked for; it is the outer bulb socket. Pull out the socket by unscrewing it anti-clockwise, and pull the bulb in a manner perpendicular with respect to the direction of the socket. For the front sidemarker bulbs, there is a socket within an amber lens housing that is located at the front corners of the vehicle; if further access is required, the housing can be pulled forward at the frontmost edge. Twist the socket in the anticlockwise direction a quarter turn and pull it out and pull the bulb in the same way. Fog light bulbs, if available, are at the lower edges of the front bumper housing and can be removed from below; lift the car safely, twist the base anti-clockwise, holding it down and pull to remove. Pull out the electrical connector from the bulb and for the bulb simply twist and pull it off the socket. To replace the center-mount brake light bulbs, being by finding the assembly inside of the vehicle, retract the trim lid, and then twist the bulb socket counter clockwise to remove it. The bulb is actually permanently attached to the base so that both should be replaced together. Regarding brake, tail, turn and back up light bulbs, open the trunk or the lift gate, unscrew the trim panel then turn the socket anti-clockwise. Switch off the item and wait for some time until it is cool enough the output shaft then rotate it 1/8 clockwise so as to pull out the bulb, when replacing the bulb make sure that the locator pins are lined up. License plate light bulbs can be replaced by removing the screws which is holding the lens of the license plate then pulling down the assembly to reveal the bulb. In the case of dome light assemblies pry off the lens, pull the bulb by the contacts, and reassemble in reverse.

    Q:
How do you access and replace the Fog Light Bulb and other related bulbs on Pontiac Vibe? Posted by Customer
    A:
The park/turn signal lights and side marker lights are integrated into the headlight housing, with access to the bulbs available from behind, though it may be challenging. For left-side bulbs, removing the battery may help. To replace a bulb, rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise and pull it out, then remove the bulb from the holder. In some models, the side marker light is a separate unit located in the front fender, requiring access from underneath after partially removing the inner fender splash shield. The process for installation follows the reverse order of removal. The taillight, brake, turn signal, and side marker bulbs can be accessed by removing panels in the cargo area; similarly, rotate the bulb holders counterclockwise to remove the bulbs, with installation reversing the removal steps. For the center high-mounted stop light, open the liftgate, remove the pushpins securing the bottom cover, take out the screws, lower the bulb housing, twist the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove it, and pull the bulb straight out. The installation follows the reverse order. The front overhead interior light can be removed as an assembly using a pry tool, with the bulb pulling straight out from between the terminals, and installation is the reverse. For the license plate light, use a plastic trim tool or taped screwdriver to remove the access cover on the liftgate's interior side, then remove the bulb holders and replace the bulbs, with installation reversing the removal. To replace the fog light, raise the vehicle and secure it on jackstands, remove the lower engine splash shield, twist the bulb holder from the housing, and replace the bulb, with installation following the reverse order.
