A: To remove the caliper, start by loosening the lug nuts on the front wheels without fully removing them. Then, raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on jackstands before removing the front wheels. Next, disconnect the Brake Line from the caliper and plug it to prevent contamination and fluid loss. If you're only removing the caliper for access to other components, you can skip this step. Proceed by removing the caliper mounting bolts and detach the caliper from its mounting bracket. If the hose is still attached, hang the caliper using a wire to avoid putting strain on the brake hose. To install the caliper, follow the reverse order of the removal procedure. Make sure to replace the copper sealing washers on each side of the brake line fitting with new ones. Tighten the caliper mounting bolts and the brake line banjo fitting bolt according to the specified torque. After installation, bleed the brake system to remove any air. Finally, install the wheels and lug nuts, lower the vehicle, and tighten the wheel lug nuts to the specified torque.
