How to remove cables from a battery?

To remove the cables, you must always disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal first and hook it up last or your tool for loosening the cable clamps would short out the battery accidentally. Therefore, even if only replacing the cable for the positive terminal, first, disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
