To remove the antenna extension cable, you will need to remove the instrument panel.

Disconnect the antenna mast cable from the radio cable where they join in a connector under the far right end of the instrument panel. Attach a fish wire to the end of the cable and pass the cable and grommet through the hole in the cowl into the fender opening. Remove the antenna mast base mounting nut and pull out the base and its cable. Attach the new cable to the fish wire and pull the wire back slowly and carefully into the body, routing it as the original cable had been.

To disconnect the antenna mast cable from the extension cable, you need to attach a wire to the old cable and pull it out through the grommet below the mounting base.

To remove the antenna mast mounting base and cable, you first need to remove the antenna mast and cowl cover. Then, you should unbolt the mounting base and remove the top trim panel from the instrument panel.

To remove the antenna extension cable, you will need to remove the instrument panel.

The installation process for the antenna mast is the reverse of removal.
