    To remove the drive axle/hub, put the vehicle in gear, apply the parking brake, and break loose the drive axle/hub nut with a socket. Use a puller to push the drive axle out while withdrawing the steering knuckle and hub assembly. To install the drive axle/hub, simply reverse the removal procedure, and lubricate the drive axle splines with multi-purpose grease.
