Where is the MAP sensor located and how do you remove it for Cadillac DeVille and DTS? Posted by Customer
    A:
The MAP sensor is placed on the top of the intake manifold close to the throttle body. It is specifically on top of the throttle body. It can be disconnected by unplugging electrical connector and removing bolts that hold an accelerator cable bracket from a throttle body, and pulling it off a throttle body. The negative battery terminal cables must be disconnected before you begin. Thereafter, disconnect MAP sensor connector. Then, remove accelerator cable bracket bolts and lift up the bracket. At last, take out MAP sensor from the throttle body. Installation is just the reverse order of this process for removal.
