    The EVAP canister is located under the vehicle, above the rear suspension and subframe. Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, then remove the rear subframe and suspension. Disconnect the electrical connector and the vapor hose quick-connect fitting from the EVAP canister vent solenoid, disconnect the two EVAP line quick-connect fittings from the EVAP canister, remove the mounting fasteners securing the canister, and take out the canister, with installation being the reverse of removal.

    To access the canister vent solenoid, remove the canister as previously described, disconnect the canister vent solenoid electrical connector, rotate the valve counterclockwise, and remove it from the canister. Installation is again the reverse of removal.

    Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the fuel tank. Disconnect the electrical connector from the canister vent solenoid valve. Disconnect the hoses from the canister, which is located on top of the fuel tank, at the rear. Remove the retainer securing the canister on top of the fuel tank and remove the canister.
