    Disconnect the battery cable and unplug the radiator fan motor's electrical connector. Remove the fan frame-to-radiator bolts and lift out the fan assembly. Remove the cooling fan mounting bolts. If replacing the fan blade, remove the retaining nut and fan from the motor shaft. If replacing the motor, remove the fan and retaining nut, then the four motor-to-frame bolts to detach the motor. Reverse these steps for installation.

    To replace the fan motor, disconnect the battery's negative cable. Unplug the fan motor's electrical connector. Remove bolts securing the fan frame to the radiator and lift out the assembly. Detach the fan from the motor by removing the retaining nut and then unbolt the motor from the frame. To install, secure the new motor to the frame, reattach the fan, and reinstall the assembly. Connect the electrical plug and battery cable. Test the fan as the engine warms.

    Before performing any work, it is essential to disconnect the negative battery cable, raise and support the vehicle, and detach the electrical connectors from the rear of the fan assemblies. Then, remove the fan-to-lower radiator cradle bolts, and for the right fan removal, remove the air conditioning accumulator for clearance. Remove the air cleaner intake duct and upper fan-to-radiator panel bolts along with the upper radiator panel to access and remove the cooling fan assemblies. To install, replace the cooling fan(s) and its mounting bolts, reconnect the air cleaner intake duct and air conditioning accumulator if removed, raise and support the vehicle again, attach the fan-to-lower radiator cradle mounting bolts, connect the electrical connectors, and finally, reconnect the negative battery cable.
