Cadillac Eldorado Radiator fan

The Radiator Fan in Cadillac Eldorado automobiles facilitates proper temperature regulation by circulating air through the 'Radiator'. This fan is most effective whenever the car is in low motion or at a stand-still as natural airstream is ineffective. The Cadillac Eldorado models over the use of Cadillac Eldorado Radiators have incorporated both Mechanical as well as Electrical Cadillac Eldorado Radiator Fans. Intake fans are commonly located on the water pump shaft and are of mechanical type which are either operated directly by the crankshaft or through belts and pulleys. Many of these fans incorporate a thermal switch into the mechanism so that the fan may engage or disengage as the temperature of the air increases, so that the engine will not become overcooled and thus increase fuel efficiency. Contemporary Cadillac Eldorado cars mostly incorporate electric Radiator Fans, unlike in the previous models. These fans are of the electric type with 12V electric motor with the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) being the control unit for the fans depending on the coolant temperature and air conditioning usage. The electric fans are mounted in this shroud assembly that is to be fixed on the radiator so as to facilitate proper airflow. The distinguishing feature between the mechanical and electric fan is the manner in which they are operated and controlled, and here the conveniences are more with the electric fan.

Each OEM Cadillac Eldorado Radiator fan we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.
