How to Headlight Removal and Installation and Aiming for Buick Century,Regal? Posted by Customer
    A:
For sealed beam headlights, remove the bezel and bulb retaining ring. Install the new beam, fix the retaining ring, and replace the bezel. For non-sealed beams, open the hood, turn and remove the bulb assembly, disconnect from the harness, and insert a new bulb. Align the tab with the notch and lock by turning the assembly clockwise. To adjust headlights, ensure proper tire inflation, clean lenses, and position the vehicle 25 ft. from a flat wall. Mark the wall with the headlamp center's height and vehicle centerline. Rock the vehicle for suspension stability. Turn lights on and adjust for high intensity.

    Q:
How to replace a headlight for Oldsmobile Cutlass? Posted by Customer
    A:
Whenever replacing the headlight, avoid turning the spring-loaded adjusting screws. Start by removing the headlight bezel screws and the decorative bezel. If applicable, use a cotter pin removal tool to unhook the spring from the retaining ring. Then, remove the retaining ring screws and withdraw the ring while supporting the light. Slightly pull the headlight unit outward and disconnect the electrical connector from the rear of the light. Remove the old light from the vehicle. Position the new unit close enough to connect the electrical connector, ensuring that the numbers molded into the lens are at the top. Install the retaining ring with its mounting screws and spring. Finally, install the decorative bezel and check for proper operation. Remember to adjust the headlight aim after installing a new headlight.
