    A:
To replace the PCV valve, pull the valve (with the hose attached) from its rubber grommet in the rocker arm cover. Using pliers or a screwdriver, depending on the type of clamp, loosen the clamp at the end of the hose and move the clamp upwards on the PCV hose. Then, pull the PCV valve from the end of the hose, noting its installed position and direction. Compare the old valve with the new one to make sure they are the same. Push the new valve into the end of the hose until it is fully seated. Move the hose clamp down the hose and tighten the clamp securely around the end of the hose. Inspect the rubber grommet in the cover for damage and replace it with a new one if faulty. Finally, push the PCV valve and hose securely into the rocker arm cover.
