- Q: Where is the PCV valve typically located and how do you replace it on Chevrolet El Camino?A: The PCV valve is most often mounted to one of the rocker arm covers beneath the bonnet on the side of the given car's engine, and connected by a hose either to the carburetor or the intake manifold.
