- A:Remove the driveaxle/hub nut by inserting a prybar through the caliper inspection window and into the cooling vanes of the brake disc to hold the hub stationary while removing the nut. Pull the brake disc off the hub.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist

- A:To start removing the rear wheel first, slacken off the lug nuts, and make sure you block the front wheels to stop the vehicle from moving. After that lift up the back of your car properly and safely place it on jack stands under the frame. With the car being supported well, take away one of the rear wheels. Once this is done, detach the rear brake caliper, mounting bracket and brake disc. To avoid damaging a brake hose, please ensure you hang caliper using a wire. Then disconnect ABS connector if vehicle has it installed. Taking out hub and bearing assembly involves rotating hub so as to align one of its holes in flange with each bolt used for mounting it on axle; afterwards remove these bolts. Lastly get rid of hub and bearing assembly too. When installing just reverse removal procedures making certain that specification torque is adhered to when tightening bolts back into place.The brake fasteners must also be tightened according to torque specifications.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
