    How do you remove the Air Filter Box? Posted by Customer
    A:
    Detach the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Disconnect the electrical connector to the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor. Remove the clamps that retain the air intake assembly to the throttle body. Lift the air filter box, air intake ducts, and resonator chamber from the engine compartment as a complete assembly. Installation is the reverse of removal.

    To replace the air filter for Central Port Injection and Multiport Fuel Injection, you need to detach the two clips, separate the housing halves, and lift the filter out. Then, wipe out the inside of the air cleaner housing with a clean rag, place the new filter in the air cleaner housing, making sure it seats properly, seat the two halves together, and secure them with the clips.
