    To remove the front suspension of a vehicle, start by raising the front of the vehicle and supporting it securely on jack stands. Apply the parking brake for safety. Then, support the lower control arm with a jack to compress the coil spring to its normal ride height. Remove the wheel and disconnect the ABS wheel speed sensor. Next, remove the brake caliper and the brake disc/hub assembly. If equipped, remove the disc splash shield. Disconnect the tie-rod end from the knuckle and disconnect the ball joints from the steering knuckle. Finally, remove the steering knuckle. To install the front suspension, simply reverse the removal steps. Make sure to adjust the front wheel bearings and have the front wheel alignment checked afterwards.
