    Q:
How do you install the throttle body air inlet duct for the 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo? Posted by Customer
    A:
For installation, reverse the removal steps and be sure to adjust the new cable after installing it. For the 2006 model, detach the cable from the manual lever on the transaxle and place the manual lever in the Neutral position. Place the shift lever inside the car in Neutral and pull up on the cable adjuster tab at the cable bracket on the transaxle, then connect the cable to the manual lever. The cable will automatically adjust itself. Make sure the engine starts in the Park and Neutral positions only. For the 2007 and later models, place the shift lever in Park and set the parking brake. Pull back the white part of the plastic connector and release the cable end without grabbing it. This will allow the cable spring to adjust and tension the cable. Push the white part of the plastic connector back to its original position and check that all gear positions can be selected. Adjust the cable if necessary.
