    A: You will have to first switch the ignition key to OFF for four-cylinder models and unhook the cable from the negative battery terminal. Next, you have to lift up the front of the vehicle and hold it firmly with jackstands. You should remove both the Battery Cable and starter control cable from their respective terminals on the starter motor solenoid. After that, undo some starter motor mounting bolts in order to take out a starter motor. To reinstall, follow these reverse steps while tightening mounting bolts to specified torque values.
