How do you remove the heater control unit?

To remove the A/C switch, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Then, remove the lower center trim panel and disconnect the electrical connectors. Pull the A/C switch out enough to disconnect the heater control cables and electrical connectors from the blower speed switch and A/C switch. To install, simply reverse the removal procedure and check for the proper functioning of the heater and air conditioning (if equipped) by running the engine.
