    Q: How to replace the condenser on Pontiac Grand Prix?
    A: To replace the condenser, first discharge the air conditioning system and disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the air cleaner assembly, torque struts, Coolant Reservoir, cooling fan, and Radiator. Disconnect and plug the refrigerant lines from the condenser. Take out the radiator mounting panel and lift out the condenser, noting rubber mounts. If using a new condenser, add an ounce of refrigerant oil. Reinstall all components in reverse order and have the system professionally evacuated, recharged, and leak tested.
