Take out the floor heat ducting, pull the instrument panel back as far as it will go and disconnect any interfering electrical connectors. After all the connections have been unbolted, the instrument panel can be lifted out with considerable force to free it from the windshield; it should be removed through the driver side door if possible. Reinstallation however is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
