How to disconnect and reinstall the headlight switch for Buick Skylark,Oldsmobile Omega and Pontiac Phoenix?

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the instrument panel bezel. Remove the headlight switch ferrule nut. Push the switch out of its mounting hole and lift it up and out through the opening above its mounting position. Disconnect the switch from its wiring connector, and remove it from the instrument panel. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
