How to remove and install A/C Accumulator on GMC Canyon?

To remove the air conditioning system, discharge it and disconnect the battery. Remove the radiator grille and disconnect the refrigerant inlet and outlet lines. Remove the fittings from the A/C accumulator and cap or plug the open lines. Remove the A/C accumulator assembly by loosening the clamp bolt and lifting it out. To install a new A/C accumulator, add one ounce of refrigerant oil and place it in the bracket. Position the A/C accumulator and bracket on the mounting stud and install the inlet and outlet lines with new O-rings. Tighten the mounting bolt securely and reattach the pressure cycling switch. Connect the battery and have the system evacuated, recharged, and leak tested.
