Remove the shock absorber and disconnect the stabilizer bar from the lower control arm. Loop a length of chain through the control arm and coil spring, and bolt the chain together, ensuring there is enough slack. Position a floor jack under the inner edge of the lower control arm and raise it slightly to relieve spring pressure. Remove the rear bolt first, then the front, tapping them out if necessary.
