A: To remove the wiper motor, start by raising the hood and removing the cowl vent screen or grille. Then, disconnect the electrical leads from the wiper motor and loosen the nuts securing the ball cup of the crank arm to the drive link joint, without removing them completely. Disconnect the drive link from the crank arm. If you have a pre-1975 model, also disconnect the washer hoses. Next, remove the three motor securing screws and withdraw the motor, guiding the crank arm through the hole. To reinstall, simply follow the reverse of the removal procedure.
