How to remove and reinstall the transaxle and driveplate in V8 engine on Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

Take out the transaxle then freely can undo the drive plate and consider checking the condition of the former for damages and wears. It is recommended that prior to putting in the bolts, a locking compound is smeared on the threads of the bolt. Place the driveplate in position and tighten the bolts to the indicated torque values, but before doing so, tighten in stages, in the criss-cross manner. The rest of the installation process is done in a sequential reverse order to the removal process.
