To remove the manual transmission, one should matchmark the clutch cover and flywheel for reinstallation. Removing the flywheel involves unscrewing the bolts which are spaced unevenly. To replace a ring gear, bore a hole between two teeth and then split it using a cold chisel. To install a new gear, first polish areas on the ring, heat it until the polished spots turn blue, and place it on the flywheel shoulder.
