Then, remove the Coolant Reservoir and place a drain pan under the heater core. Disconnect the coolant hoses from the core and plug them to prevent coolant from leaking. Remove the mounting screws/nuts from the heater housing in the engine compartment. Next, remove the glovebox liner and door, and label and disconnect the heater controls. Disconnect and remove the computer and mounting bracket, as well as the radio antenna cable if equipped. Remove the kick panel and detach the right lower corner of the dash panel. Place a drain pan under the heater core fittings and disconnect the coolant hoses from the core. Disconnect the blower motor wiring and remove the drain valve. Remove the heater housing mounting bolts and nuts and separate the housing. Remove the clips/nuts and separate the housing, then remove the heater core.
