If the tank is not empty, siphon or pump out the remaining fuel. Disconnect the fuel supply line and EVAP purge line quick-connect fittings and remove the fuel tank shield. Support the fuel tank and remove the bolts securing the longitudinal straps. Lower the tank enough to access the fuel pump/fuel level sensor module and the EVAP canister, and disconnect the necessary connections. Finally, lower the tank completely. For installation, simply reverse the removal steps.
