Chevrolet Cruze Sway Bar Kit

The Chevrolet Cruze Sway Bar Kit mainly operates to improve the car handling capability since it links the opposite ends of the suspension system so that they can minimize the body sway when turning or over an undulating terrain. This anti-roll bar employs the use of a torsion spring system to increase the roll stiffness without affecting the vertical spring rate for the provision of gripping ability and stability. There have been different types of Sway Bar Kits used on Chevrolet Cruze cars though the several years from adjustable to the active anti-roll bars. Some of such modern sophisticated systems can give variable stiffness to control handling attributes and ride comfort. Unlike the usual shock bars which transfer the beat between the wheels and leading to a 'waddling' feel of the car on bumpy glasses, the newer models of shock bars have been discouraged for this effect. In conclusion, the Chevrolet Cruze Sway Bar Kit has the overall responsibility in adjusting the vehicle's handling balance that is pivotal to the performance on road.

Each OEM Chevrolet Cruze Sway Bar Kit we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.

Chevrolet Cruze Sway Bar Kit Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How do you remove the bar, bushings and links on Chevrolet Cruze?
A: To remove the bushings and links, start by loosening the front wheel lug nuts and raising the front of the vehicle. Support it securely on jackstands and remove the front wheels. Then, remove and discard the nuts that attach the upper and lower ends of the sway bar links to the strut/coil spring assembly and to the sway bar. Detach the links. Lower and support the subframe enough to access the sway bar mounting brackets. Remove the bolts and nuts from the sway bar bushing brackets. Inspect the retainer bushings for cracks and tears. If any bushing is damaged, replace the sway bar and bushings as a set. Also, if the ballstuds on the links are loose or worn, replace the links. To install, guide the sway bar kit into place and install the bushing bracket bolts, tightening them to the specified torque. Then, install the links and tighten the link nuts to the proper torque. To remove the sway bar kit, detach the links from the bar and remove the sway bar bushing bracket bolts. Twist the sway bar kit up and remove it through the right wheel opening. The installation process is the reverse of the removal procedure.
