How do you remove the regulator or dampener from the fuel rail?

To disconnect the fuel rail regulator or dampener, begin by unplugging the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Then, remove dirt from the regulator/dampener area so as to prevent contamination that may happen. After which, carefully take out the snap-ring holding down either the regulator or dampener on to the fuel rail. Cover all new O-rings with clean engine oil and install it in place before putting back on top of it a snap ring tightly. Put back again the cable on to negative battery pole before turning ignition switch to ON position without engaging starter then engage fuel pump for a few times until pressure is built up. For final step do this more than once while checking if there are any leakages of fuel.
