How do you remove the Brake Pad?

Begin by removing the brake fluid reservoir cap and loosening the lug nuts on the wheel. After that, raise the vehicle end up and secure it firmly using jackstands with wheels blocked at other end. Remove the wheels and examine carefully the brake disc. In case of need for machining, get rid off pads and disc. Before disassembling brakes, wash them thoroughly with brake system cleaner then let it dry in an open place after placing a drain pan beneath to catch any residual liquid. Mounting bolts should be fully tightened when reinstalling calipers as per proper torque specifications. Upon completion of this task press firmly on the brake pedal several times so that pads can touch discs. Check whether existing amount of brake liquid is sufficient or not.
