A: Take a large-sized screwdriver or pry bar to slide it between the transmission and the crossmember, after which you will need to lift the transmission a little bit upwards in order to examine the rear transmission mount for signs of wear. You may remove the nut fastening the insulator onto a transverse beam and bolts that fix an insulator to a case for changing any mount. Push up a gear-box by means of jack and take away pillows.
