Chevrolet Astro Starter Solenoid

About The Starter Solenoid The Starter Solenoid is a very important component in the engine beginning procedure in Chevrolet Astro vehicles. For it serves the function of an automotive relay that connects the circuit between the battery and the starter motor each time the ignition is switched on. This enables a large amount of electrical current to be supplied and this in turn rotates the starter motor which in turn moves the starter pinion till it comes into mesh with the engine's ring gear. Different styles of Starter Solenoids may be used in Chevrolet Astro models with the current generations of these usually featuring an electromagnet that connects the battery to the starter motor. In earlier models with the Bendix drive, the contact acts upon the inertia of the pinion in order to engage it without the necessity of linkage to a solenoid. Problems with the Starter Solenoid including inadequate current as a result of faulty batteries may result to starting problems hence the need to have the Chevrolet Astro vehicles serviced as frequently as possible.

Each OEM Chevrolet Astro Starter Solenoid we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.
