A: Disconnect the negative battery cable. For Deville and Fleetwood, remove the instrument panel trim plates as follows: On 1990-91 vehicles, remove the right and left sound insulators and snap out the upper steering column filler panel. Remove the lower steering column filler panel. Remove the screws from the tops of the trim plates and remove the left and right trim plates. Unscrew the screws at the bottom of the center trim plate and remove the trim plate. Remove the switch retaining screws and detach the electrical connector. Remove the knob and bezel from the switch.
