First, take off the door trim panel and inner panel water deflector, then pull out the front part of the glass run weatherstrip while holding down the glass. Disconnect negative battery cable first in case of electric remote side view mirrors as well as removing side view mirror remote control escutcheons, door trim panel, inner panel water deflector and electrical connector for side view mirror. Right-side remote side view mirrors may also require detaching part of the instrument panel. Nuts must be tightened to 72 in.-lbs or 8 Nm eventually.
