How to Brake Caliper Removal and Installation and Overhaul for Buick Century,Regal?

To remove the caliper, follow steps 2-4 of pad replacement, then take out the inner pad, spring clip, and L-shaped retainer. Clean the caliper with denatured alcohol, discard the brake hose copper gasket, and empty the caliper brake fluid. For installation, attach the brake hose with a new gasket, lubricate sleeves and bushings, fit bushings and disc pads, remount the caliper, reconnect brake hose, insert the retainer clip, bleed brakes, and test the vehicle. To overhaul, shield the piston with wood, eject using compressed air, remove the dust boot and bleeder screw, inspect piston and caliper bore.
